The comprehensive internal and external refurbishment and basement extension to a privately owned Victorian semi-detached house in North Oxford. The project included tanking the existing basement and excavation of the rear garden to form a kitchen/dining room and a sunken patio area. The project required us to carry out a comprehensive refurbishment to all aspects of the property including numerous internal alterations, together with remedial repairs both internally and externally. An external terrace and steps up to the garden area were formed to the rear. To the front of the property, external works included formation of a new driveway, repairs to walls consisting of raking out and repointing existing brickwork facades, along with new bespoke metal hand railing installations. Enlargement and formation of a light well to the basement room was also carried out. Full mechanical and electrical packages were installed along with data provision and fire, intruder and security systems incorporated.
